Recognised Prior Learning Program

Got the skills, but lack the formal qualification?  The AWCINSW are here to assist.

Through our AWCINSW Recognised Prior Learning programme, the AWCINSW can get you on your way to gaining your well deserved qualfications.

What do you need to do?

Call, email or messenger AWCINSW and we will walk you through the Recognised Prior Learning process and provide you with your RPL application. Our qualified AWCINSW Trainers and Assessors will be in contact with you to help you create your portfolio of works to submit as evidence of your workplace experiences. As a minimum, you should have at least 5 years in the wall & ceiling trade. Contact us, we know you deserve the recognition!

What does and RPL cost?

This depends on how much experience you have! If you have been a wall & ceiling liner for over 5 years, can provide us with all the evidence required of this, we can offer this for as little as $2,400.

If you require more training in areas that you lack some experience in, don’t stress, we can create a training plan to ensure you get targeted training and assessment. We won’t put you through training that you already are skilled in!

Why get qualified?

We know, we hear it all the time - you have worked all your adult life in the wall & ceiling industry without your certificate, so why bother now?

Well, having your qualification will open up doors for you to run your own business, be your own boss, employ apprentices to build your business, quote for your own jobs and gain independence!

With more and more emphasis put on head contractors for qualified tradespeople, you may just be missing out on gaining the most from your work.

How long will it take to get my qualification?

This depends on how soon you want to get your evidence to us! We don’t see any reason for delaying your well deserved qualification, so talk to our trainers and assessors, early on in the process they will develop your RPL plan that will get you on your way.
