AWCINSW Steel Cap Boot Camp
The AWCINSW Steel Cap Boot Camp is an industry initiative driven by the AWCINSW and has been designed by industry training specialists to bring together the knowledge, skills, and experience your apprentice has gained throughout their apprenticeship and put those skills to the test!
The AWCINSW Steel Cap Boot Camp provides the opportunity to cover off any of those units of competency that your apprentice may not be exposed to, but needs to undertake in order to successfully complete their formal training.

Set over two exciting days, you will get the chance to: Try out real trade skills in a supervised training environment, work in teams on a practical project guided by our expert trainers, meet current apprentices, hear their stories, and ask questions about the trade. See first-hand what it is to train and work in the wall and ceiling industry
This program is designed especially for secondary school students who want to explore future career pathways. It is a fun, practical “taster” experience to help you decide whether a trade career could be the right fit for you.
