About the AWCINSW Awards for Excellence
The Association of Wall and Ceiling Industries (AWCI) Awards of Excellence recognise the highest standards of workmanship in the wall and ceiling industry in New South Wales. Nominating your work in the Awards of Excellence will give you the opportunity to showcase your outstanding work to local industry members, highlight your creative and innovative application of products, and demonstrate your high standards of quality workmanship. Each project entry is judged on the quality of the workmanship and finish.

Winning entries are a symbol of excellence in the industry, which you can promote to your existing and potential clients and builders. AWCINSW is shaking our awards up a bit in 2023. We know the challenges our hard-working contractors are facing and how you have all managed to steer your business in the right direction over the past few years, so we want to make sure you are getting the recognition you deserve. AWCINSW is opening up more categories, giving more regional areas recognition, and creating industry innovation and commitment awards. 12 October is locked in for the 2024 Awards for Excellence.
For over 25 years, the AWCINSW Awards for Excellence have provided wall & ceiling contractors across NSW & ACT with an opportunity to promote their quality workmanship and commitment to excellence. For category winners, the NSW awards are the platform for national recognition at the Trans Tasman Awards of Excellence held at the AWCIANZ Conference.
WE SHOOK IT UP IN 2023... AND IT WORKED!
Feedback from our 2023 sponsors and contractors all agreed that offering more categories gave our contractors more opportunity to be rewarded and recognised for their hard work.
This year we will be keeping the same categories and offering plenty of opportunities for our local and regional contractors, employers, and apprentices who strive for excellence and continue to contribute in a positive way to our industry. Opportunities are endless for our sponsors to show their support of the wall & ceiling industry.
Like last year, all sponsors will be encouraged to nominate an entry for the 2024 Awards. The nomination becomes YOUR organization's 2024 Award for Excellence – i.e., the XYZ Manufacturer’s Award for Excellence. There is NO competition against this category – it is yours to own and decide.
This year we are pleased to announce that AWCINSW will be hosting our Awards for Excellence function at the exquisite and luxurious 12-Micron - Barangaroo. We are looking forward to a fantastic afternoon of reward and celebration.
