2026 AWCINSW State of Origin

Just like a football match, each State will boast their star players, showcasing their unique techniques and strategies. The skills and dedication they have developed over their apprenticeship are akin to the jerseys State of Origin players proudly wear.

The competition kicks off at 7am on Monday 25 May, with presentations of team jerseys by Wall & Ceiling Lining Legends..

After our jersey presentation, selected apprentices from NSW & Qld will engage in industry challenges, from precise measurements to intricate setting.  Just like a well-coordinated play on the field, every move must be executed with precision and teamwork, ensuring that their work kicks the goal of expectation that we have set.

Spectators – whether they are seasoned contractors or eager potential future wall & ceiling liners will line the sidelines, encouraging their favourite team, while judges serve as the referees, evaluating each effort. 

In the end, just like a football game, it all comes down to team spirit, skill, and resilience. The AWCINSW State of Origin for wall and ceiling liners is not just about winning; it’s about fostering camaraderie, sharing knowledge, and celebrating the craftsmanship that elevates the industry to new heights. The atmosphere is electrifying, every project a goal, every competition a match for the ages!

Oh – and it’s just not all about the project, we will be going on factory tours, have industry mentoring and.... because all of our competitors have worked hard, we will cap this off with a trip to Accor Stadium for game III of the 2025 Ampol State of Origin.  What a program!
